While we’re on the topic of last minute gifts, we thought we’d draw your attention to this delightful cellular offering courtesy of Giorgio Armani.
Armani and Samsung have been working together since 2007, a partnership which has presumably been profitable enough to repeatedly renew the contract. It’s a nice looking phone — modeled by an even nicer looking Ben Hill — but we can’t imagine that Armani will really eke out much of a marketshare when they’re competing with the likes of Apple, RiM, and HTC.
Then there’s the price. according to Fashionising, the phone will retail for $900 — a price that, while steep, isn’t necessarily steep enough to make it a status item (like those silly Vertu phones you can buy in the Dubai airport.)
