TOM FORD’s Secret Show Was As Cool As It Sounded!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Back in September, Tom Ford debuted his first womenswear collection in a super-exclusive show that left us decidedly jealous. The guest list was ridiculous, the clothes sounded divine and we just couldn’t wait for photos to surface. Though a few poor quality pics leaked (and the collection popped up in December’s Vogue), we are only now privy to the official visuals from the much-lauded presentation.
Terry Richardson shot the show for Harper’s Bazaar UK, and while our feelings about Terry are no secret, we think it’s fairly objective to say that the quality of the images is disappointing. The clothes, however, oh the clothes!
Beautiful.
Decadent.
Sexy.

Lady Gaga Debuts New Bob Hairstyle -Bikram yoga...

Lady Gaga is becoming as famous for her ever-changing hairstyles as her music.

You may recall just last week that Gaga was sporting long gray and blue locks. But yesterday, the 24-year-old pop star was spotted leaving her London hotel en route to Abbey Road Studios for a recording session with a platinum blonde bob haircut.

Today, the eccentric hair queen headed to Bikram yoga with her short strands pulled back in a French roll updo that she paired with a silky purple Hussein Chalayan dress with black and white booties.

Let's hope she wasn't planning to sweat it out in that attire!

Red Lips Are the First Thing Men Notice, Study Finds

You may believe that your piercing eyes and radiant skin are the features that lure most men, but it turns out they're really fixed on your lips -- and particularly if they're cloaked in red lipstick.

Scientists at Manchester University used eye-tracking software to show that in the ten seconds after meeting a woman for the first time, the average man will spend more than half that time looking at her mouth, according to a report in the Daily Mail.

"For centuries, women have painted their lips red to enhance their appeal. The practice dates back as far as the Ancient Egyptians, who used red lipstick and rouge to enhance their attractiveness." said Dr. Geoff Beattie, who conducted the research.

"Our research suggests that red lips and perceived attractiveness are still inextricably linked, with red lipstick the most powerful attractor, and one that significantly increases visual fixation," added Dr. Beattie.

Looks like all the "Single Ladies" will be heading to the cosmetics counter in search of a fresh tube of red lipstick for their upcoming holiday soirees!

DRAW THE LINE
If you’re careful and have a steady hand with the lip-liner, you can define your lips to make them look fuller, says make-up artist Kay Montano, creative director of myfacecosmetics.com.
‘Use a lip-liner to subtly accentuate the lip-line just over the edge of your natural line, in exactly the same shade as your lips,’ she says. ‘If you’re fair, the myface hi-def lip pencil in Nude (£6.49, at Boots) is a good one to start with.’
GO GLOSSY
It’s a simple fact of light. Matte finish lipsticks absorb the light and so have the effect of making your lips look smaller than they are. Stick on a bit of gloss, on the other hand, and the light will instantly bounce back, giving the impression of fuller, more eye-catching lips.
BOOST THIN LIPS
Try a lip primer, suggests Richard Hawkins of Guerlain. ‘A sophisticated lip primer such as Guerlain’s Lip Lift will plump up lips. It will also help lipstick go on more smoothly and to stay put for longer.’

top make-up artist Louise Constad, of beautyqueenworkshops.com, says red brings out the inner Marilyn Monroe in us all. ‘If a solid red lip doesn’t suit you, then try a sheer red, which can be much kinder and easier to wear,’ she suggests.
‘Wearing red lipstick is often a matter of getting used to seeing yourself with lips that stand out, but within only a day or two you will feel more comfortable.’
According to make-up guru Bobbi Brown, anyone can wear red lipstick; it’s just a question of finding the shade that is right for you.
This winter, Bobbi has produced her first ever really red lipstick — the candy-bright Hollywood Red (£15.50).
It’s a very flattering shade, but if that is still too much for you, then there’s an easier-to-wear matching lipgloss in Hollywood Red (£14, bobbibrown.co.uk).
And if you wear red, you don’t have to worry about teeth-whitening. If you choose red lipstick, or another really bright shade, you will find, as if by magic, that your teeth will automatically look whiter in comparison.

Speculation about what a Karl Lagerfeld-lensed Pirelli calendar would look like has been going on for months now. First we learned the calendar would include boys, then we heard Natasha Poly was getting in on the action and recently word spread about the calendar’s mythology theme. Well, dear readers, now we have actual photos from the calendar to share!
Lagerfeld told WWD that he wanted to convey “timeless beauty and youth” and that he strived to be original: “I wanted to do something different. I looked at all the other calendars … With such a concept and boys and girls like this, it was an easy job.”

Anna Dello Russo’s Perfume Ad Lacks Perspective

While Anna Dello Russo’s video for her new fragrance made our day, the ad campaign has made our week. Behold: ADR in a cowboy hat, photographed by Juergen Teller. For real.

Anna definitely has a thing for the photog, who shot her for the November issue of W. And just like the W spread and the fragrance’s video, the ad campaign is staged in her swanky digs. In the ad she wears a gold Moschino getup and, yes, a black cowboy hat. The photo is classic Juergen — over-exposed and oddly startling.

We’re confused by the photo, however. Behind Anna are shelves of shoes, which seemingly lead into the apartment’s sitting area. But how is Anna’s hand touching that black door that is several feet away from her? At first we thought she may be pressing her hand against a mirror that reflects an image of her apartment, but that can’t be right since Anna herself is not reflected. This is seriously bugging us out. Photoshop disaster

Kylie, 13-Year-Old Kardashian Sister, Is Now A Model

Kylie Jenner, half-sister to the Kardashian girls, is a striking 5′9″ model. She is also 13. The first modeling photos of Kylie were just released, and we’re just not sure what to think of them. (Also, the Kardashian-Jenner crew includes 10 kids as a product of 4 separate marriages between Kris and Bruce Jenner. Confusing!)

The pictures are pretty, and while Kylie doesn’t look as mature as the 15-year-old who graces the cover of Vogue Paris with Tom Ford, she’s a far cry from the gawky braces-clad 13-year-olds we once were. And because she’s 13, we feel weird saying she has more of a commercial look than a high fashion look. Then again, it might be because she’s 13.

But modeling runs in the family. Her 15-year-old sister Kendall is signed to Wilhelmina, and even has a reality show in the works. She’ll star in LA Prep, a spinoff of Bravo’s so-awful-we-love-it NYC Prep. (Let it be known Kendall is the only prep school-attending cast member — the rest go to public school in the Valley.)

However, Kylie is a bit tamer than Kendall, whose then-14-year-old bikini bod caused some controversy this summer. Regardless, big sis Kourtney doesn’t see a problem with Kendall or Kylie’s photos: “I can’t tell you how proud it makes me feel to see my little sisters looking so beautiful and mature and seeing them grow, follow their passions and explore new opportunities.”
