As fun as it is to playfully poke fun at Chloe Sevigny (and as much attention as the ELLE brands have attracted for allegedly lightening the color of their darker-skinned cover stars), we can’t deny that the January 2011 cover of ELLE Korea is pretty great. It’s clean simplicity (and that awesome net-overlay trench coat Sevigny is wearing) make for an awesome start to a brand new year. And at any rate, it’s an improvement over the naughty schoolgirl-esque cover the actress did for ELLE UK in 2008.
But that’s just what we think. And we can’t help but ask …
