David Yurman's distinctive high-end jewelry is as classic as it is edgy. Sort of like the line's recent head-turning ad campaign, featuring model Kate Moss wearing nothing but the jewelry.
"She had the edge, she's like a bad girl," David Yurman told the Arizona Republic last month. "She has great energy, and when you talk to Kate there's no one else in the room but you, she's all there... Kate was just right for this product."
And we think you are too, which is why today we are giving away seven Silver Ice Cookie necklaces, complete with pave diamond centers. Imagine how this will look at your holiday party!
The helix-type cables remain a recurring motif in his designs. "David Yurman-inspired" is a common phrase used to describe jewelry.
His fans are legion, including Kate Moss, Madonna, Justin Timberlake and Renee Zellweger.
Yurman stepped down as CEO of his company in 2006, though he still oversees designs. His son Evan has been a designer with the company since 2003. Yurman has said the company will use gold in more of its pieces to capitalize on its popularity and enduring value.
The company has been expanding in recent years, with new outposts in New York, Paris and Asia, as well as new lines of fragrance and sunglasses.
