You know how i love Kate Moss empire expansion plan rumors. First, we thought she was going to make jam, then we thought she was going to challenge Barbizon by establishing the Kate Moss Modeling Academy. But apparently, the supermodel is passing by both of those totally viable career plans to do what she really wants to do: record an album.
ELLE UK reports that Moss has been seeking advice from her musical friends (including her boyfriend Jamie Hince, the guitarist for The Kills) on how she might go about parlaying years of runway training and high-fashion advertising campaigns into a career as a singer. And since she’s guest starred on tracks for bands from Primal Scream to Oasis, maybe this rumor isn’t as farfetched as something like, say, Kate Moss Food Incorporated.
We think Moss could be successful at just about anything she tried her hand at — sales of her perfume are pretty great, and Topshop shined while she was its reigning celebrity collaborator. What we’re trying to say is that anything the woman touches turns to gold, so maybe a few gold records aren’t entirely out of reach.

Although Moss is better known as a rocker’s girlfriend than a singer in her own right, she has guest-starred on tracks with Oasis, Primal Scream and Babyshambles, ex Pete Doherty’s group.
The twin novelties of hearing Moss’s voice and seeing her sure-to-be brilliant stage outfits mean we’re all for this latest development. Any suggestions for an album title?
