Remember earlier when we said there was something in the water RE: engagements? We think it might actually be viral.
A little while ago, actress Natalie Portman’s people let slip to People magazine that the actress is not only engaged to choreographer Benjamin Millepied, she’s also carrying his child!
The two met while they were working on the set of Black Swan, which is clearly where everything good that has happened to costume-making went down this year. The actress is nominated for both a Golden Globe and a Screen Actors’ Guild Award for her portrayal as a ballerina hell bent on perfection, and we’re guessing that her performance has a lot to do with Millepied’s instruction.
But as much as we know about Portman, Millepied isn’t quite as famous — or at least he isn’t yet. According to his profile in last June’s issue of Details, he’s got aspirations of being a director. Do we smell a Hollywood power family in the making? Why yes, we think we do.
