As I already mentioned (first part) i prefer Pilates instead of Yoga. My blood pressure is low and so many exercise based on flexions, when i took the upright position-right myself up from not even a deep flexion position i started to feel dizzy. And i couldn't make it easy, moreover was very uncorfortable! When i started something i wanna do it in 100% . The heat makes even more difficult. The yoga studio s all around with heaters and radiators so approximately was 95-100 degrees. so who has low blood pressure or high blood pressure-hypertension type, i dissuade from hot yoga. What is true and unbelievable how fast increased my flexibility! My skin become tight, tense! After the first Yoga!! Incredible fast detoxification!BUT what i really don't like about this Yoga....thickening of the thigh is extremely!!but the calves do not grow the other hand like the thigh so for me seems like KFC chicken thighs! Too muscular for women in my eyes! non-aesthetic, thats the reason why i highly suggesting: personal pilates! I'm still doing but just for my torso...skipping the thigh thigh thigh poses and really dont care about opinion about "soul balance" im doing Yoga as a sport not as a lifestyle!!! But people tend to think of themselves as too smart and well that s killing me softly at the B.Y. studio!!! And they say that there is nothing worse than a half-educated bunch of people trying to force to do something what you dont want to do but preaching about acceptance...(of course depends on the studio but i shared my experience...)Ruin the day many times,so MY ADVISE:
"Dont give any interest for others, focus on yourself and do what you like how your body need...oh and smile right to the face!"
About:
The point is to balance your body and your mind through controlled breathing , mental focus, and a series of postures
Make sure to drink plenty of water before and after class so you don't get dehydrated. It is not advisable to eat during the two hours before class.
Some info about the Bikram Yoga:
Hot Yoga is a series of yoga poses done in a heated room. The room is usually maintained at a temperature of 95-100 degrees. As you can imagine, a vigorous yoga session at this temperature promotes profuse sweating and makes the body very warm, and therefore more flexible.
Living yoga master Bikram Choudhury is a Hot Yoga innovator. His method of Hot Yoga is a set series of 26 yoga poses, including two pranayama exercises, each of which is performed twice in a single 90 minute class.
Bikram, a kind of “hot yoga” named after its originator, increases flexibility (and sweating) by doing yoga in a really hot room. Bikram, by the way, is not quite as exotic as it sounds
Pilates, on the other hand, combines the idea of mind-and-body union with an emphasis on physical development and fitness. It was originally named Contrology by its inventor, Joseph H. Pilates, and although it’s not as old as yoga, it’s older than you’d think. Pilates came up with the exercises while working as a nurse during World War I! His focus was to “control” the muscles with the consciousness. Instead of lots of repetitions of simple movements (like dumbbell curls), Pilates stressed doing fewer reps of more skilled movements, thereby engaging the mind. He came up with over 500 of these (today there are thousands). Of course, his original method involved a lot of specially designed machines as well (basically modified gymnastics apparatuses, with springs added for resistance)
