Of course, with a look back through her red-carpet and onstage getups throughout the year, it almost appears as if Ke$ha's been gunning for this title all along.
Some of the 23-year-old's 2010 lowlights include a minidress fashioned out of garbage bags, a gown made of VHS tape, a neon-green bodysuit with net overlay, mud-splatted boots, and a host of other pantless ensembles and cheap Hot Topic-y gear.
In the beauty department, Ke$ha sported tribal paint all over her body, a shiny gold tooth, sky-blue lipstick and eye shadow (always a no-no), several quizzical headdresses and her scraggly blond locks worn in a Mohawk.
Thanks to these dreadful looks, Ke$ha was the runaway winner on our poll, with 40 percent of reader votes. Celebrities who trailed behind her include Phoebe Price (13 percent), Rihanna (12 percent), Miley Cyrus (11 percent), Bai Ling (5 percent), La Toya Jackson (3 percent), Debbie Harry (3 percent), Leighton Meester (3 percent), Mischa Barton (2 percent) and Chloë Sevigny (1 percent).
